EuroForth 2001

Schloss Dagstuhl, Saarland, Germany.
23rd to 26th November, 2001

The 17th EuroForth Conference found us back for the third time at a favourite venu: Castle Dagstuhl in Saarland, Germany. Conferences, and cakes, in this place are always memorable, but this conference proved to be even more special than usual, with the participation of the inventor of Forth, our special guest Chuck Moore.

Thakyou to all writers and presenters, to the programme committee, and to Dr Peter Knaggs our proceedings editor. Without you the conference would not have been possible. Many thanks also to our local organiser at Dagstuhl, Nicole Probst, to Angelika Mueller at the Dagstuhl office, and to the kind and patient staff of the castle, who have done so much to make this conference easy and enjoyable to organise.

Bill Stoddard
Program Chair
