Torero is written in JAVA, therefore a Java Development Kit (JDK) or at least a Java Runtime Environment (JRE) is needed to run Torero. It is designed either to run as a standalone application or to be started as a JAVA Applet, in this case it is even possible to start it in a Browser with a JAVA-Plugin.
Java Version 1.3.1 or any newer 1.3.x version is required. Both the SUN and the IBM implementation will work, they are available for several operating systems.
Linux i386, JDK 1.3.1 (SUN)
Linux i386, JDK 1.4 (SUN) some minor problems, will be fixed in the next version.
