| Abstract | This paper describes the implementation of a C compiler for the VIP processor.The VIP (Vienna Integrated Prolog) processor ist@ a RISC processor and was designed to interpret Prolog programs. The GNU C compiler form the Free Software Foundation was used because this optimizing compiler is easy to port to a new machine. Furthermore it is updated regularly and distributed free of charge. |
