[Updated 11-20-88] -------- Time, frustration, and therefore $$$ may be saved if you choose to take advantage of the COMMAND mode of operations. As stated on page 10 of the GEnie User's Manual "This command turns off the menus and puts you in an advanced mode." The "old" GEnie User's Guide stated "However, IT IS NOT FOR FIRST TIME USERS because you won't see any menus or information." The purpose of this file is to enable you to use COMMAND mode with greater ease by providing a handy reference of the key menus needed by most of the Forth RoundTable users. This file, including everything below the dashed line ONLY, is designed to print out exactly one full page - fold the paper in quarters after printing and you'll have a quick reference prompt sheet. Set up printer with print head at top of page, Elite font, left margin setting of 5 and page width of 95. With this helpful reference, type C at the following prompt (which is on most menus): Enter #,

revious, or elp? That will place you in COMMAND mode from which ALL of the regular commands may be used, but you'll see only the page number prompt, like: P 710? As of 18 Nov 1988 this is especially useful since GEnie now remembers you use the (C)ommand mode. To return to full menus simply type another C -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to the Forth Interest Group RoundTable GEnie FORTH Page 710 GEnie Page 712 Forth Interest Group RoundTable Set FIG Software Library Library: ALL Libraries Library: ALL Libraries 1.
