Staged Event Driven Architecture Approach for XVSM Core (Praktikum)

Task Description

Since the Web has grown and gained a lot more dynamic content, running services have to be prepared for massiv concurrency. The main problem is, that the peak load is way greater than the average and the services, which get overloaded, are often the most valuable at this time. Therefor the services must be able to handle massive concurrency. For Web-Services for example, the problem is, that usually one thread handles one connection to a client. If such a service has to handle a huge amount of concurrency it will slow down and neither of those, who have already created a connection, nor those, who are waiting for one will be satisfied. There will be connection interrupts, or long waits, which leads to even more service requests. To design stable and high scalable services they have to support massiv concurrency and load conditioning.
