XVSMTask Description
A logistic application for demostrating the functionality of the opensource XVSM implementation MozartSpaces version 0.5. A logigist application was developed for demonstrating the features and testing the functinality of MozartSpaces 0.5. The application can handle lorries (Trucks), offers and requests. The user can create this objects and a dispatcher tries to fullfill the requests. The dispatcher searches for trucks with enough volume to transport a certain good to a place where this good is requested. For finding the shortest way on the map (represented as a directed graph) Dijsktra's shortest path algorithm is used. Because the application was developed in parallel with MozartSpaces and for comparising the application can also be used with GigaSpaces (a implementation of the JavaSpaces standard).
