Abstract
Nowadays work often needs cooperation. Groupware describes software that supports and improves teamwork. This master thesis analyzes existing groupware solutions. The results of this analysis are functional patterns for the development of adaptable highly extensible groupware. Work2Gether (W2G) is a groupware framework which is developed from these patterns. In addition to the description of the framework a prototype called W2GCoop is introduced. W2GCoop shows an example for the usage of the framework.
