October 2010: Hungary

Dines lectured at Budapest, at the oldest university there: Eötvös Loránt Univ., click this, Oct. 11-22, 2010.
Kari came down Thu. 14-22.
In the weekend we visited Eger, famous for its Bull Wine: Egri Bikavar.
We last visited Eger in July 1978 with the children on our tour of
Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Vienna, Moravia/Bohemia now Czech Republic and East Germany.
Main reason for visiting Eger was to visit the St.Andrea winery in the nearby village of Egerszalók.
Stayed two nights in Eger. Saturday we took a taxi to St.Andrea winery where we had a 12 o'clock appointment -
with many wonderful wines.
You see references to their white wine in earlier sections on Budapest.

In Budapest we invited four friends for Dinner at Kis Kakukk:
Hedy Bach, her son George, a friend of the Bach family, and Mrs. and Dr. Szeredi,
all friends since 1978.

Kari went to Szentendre - to look at Indigo Blue fabrics.

We stayed at the Eötvös Loránt Univ. hotel: Peregrinus, right in the middle of Pest.
