Thursday 10 June, Lunch: Gerloczy I of II

My favourite restaurant, for lunches and dinners, and my favourite cafe for morning or afternoon coffees and, perhaps a glass, is the Gerloczy. Kari and I went there Saturday April 24, see 3/4 down the Budapest page.

The wine, above, in the middle, is the St. Andrea Napbor wine (of the sun); see also St. Andrea.
So good that we drank it when we were in Budapest in April and I drank it on two occasion this time around.
I have just ordered 24 bottles of St. Andrea wines:

• 6+6 bottles of the 2005 and 2006 Napbor vintage
• and also 6+6 Pinot Noir 2006 and "Akutyafajat" Egri Cuvé, as yet untested,

from László Kacsor's Hungarian Wine Import here in Denmark.
