Description Message-ID: Sender: news@undergrad.math.uwaterloo.ca Organization: University of Waterloo Date: Fri, 22 Oct 1993 20:57:12 GMT Lines: 36 The following four posts contain 4 postscript files of side 1 and 2 of a character sheet and a spell/psionic sheet for Ad&d. I haven't posted this on .archives yet, because I want some comments and perhaps some errors pointed out before I put it out in final form. So take a look and tell me what is mispelled and what you don't like. They were created with xfig, and when converting to postscript with fig2dev it always appends a blank page at the end of every side, so that on a 2-sided printer the 2nd side is always blank, and on a 1-sided printer it skips a page between sides. If anyone can fix this problem by looking at the postscript and telling me which line(s) to cut, I'll be glad to correct it. Personally, I just took the 2 sides and got X copies on 'old parchment' 2sided at the local copier shop, and it looks real good. The format of the character sheet is much like the official T$R character sheets, with some sections cut off and others modified. The spell sheet is pretty simple, as no one really wants to fill out all that info as on the official spell sheets. My main theme is basically conservation of space. There are almost no wasted space on the character and spell sheets. Some may find some areas too constricting(misc. equipment, proficiencies), but those areas are either not often changed or not often used, and if you write small the first time, they will do just fine. So again, I welcome all comments about the character & spell sheets. And if some people really don't want psionics I'll post a character sheet without the psionic strength points box, but most should be able to live with it. -- ( Lei Wang ) *l2wang@napier.UWaterloo.ca* Business + CS is a Lethal Load ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ME: Univ. of Waterloo YOU: Huh? o=> ME: in Canada, YOU: Huh?
