Netscape and gzip

If you have trouble using GNUzip with your version of Netscape then try one of the following:

• In the "Options:General Preferences:Helpers" dialog box insert the application of your choice (gzip, Stuffit Expander) with the MIME-Type application/x-gzip and extension gz a second time. It is already defined by Netscape but it seems that the program ignores it's own settings.
• Try to shift-click on the link to download the file directly (or use the pop-up menu) and start the compression program manually.

The versions of other platforms (e.g. UNIX) and any other browsers are fine.
