Weapon descriptions: -Warmattock: A long 5' mattock with an unusually large head. Heavy but fast this is the true barbarians weapon. It is a 2 handed weapon and effective against heavy armor; it yields a +1 to hit vs AC 5 and lower. -Great mace: his weapon is only 4' long but the head of this mace is big and heavy. The two handed weapon is an effective armor destroyer and is considered +1 to hit vs AC 5 to AC 3 and +2 vs AC 2 and lower. Slow but effective. -Great flail: Another in the series of big weapons. One needs a strength of at least 16 to wield this weapon. The weapon is made of a 4' iron pole and two 4" spiked balls attached to the pole by heavy chains. The weapon is of course 2 handed. The force of impact is enormous and foes of wielder should beware. -Warchain: This weapon is actualy an improvised weapon. A heavy chain or several 3" flailing connected rods of metal are attached to a 1' rod. Capable of dealing heavy blows, it is a slow weapon and mostly used by desperate or primitive warriors. -Stilletto: This dagger is an assassins tool. The cross-section of the blade is either triangluar or diamond shaped and tapering towards a sharp point. This weapon can only be used to stab and cannot even be thrown. However when used to backstab someone it is considered to do 1D6 damage. The shape of the blade makes this weapon really fast. -Falchion: This is yet another of that huge family of swords. This blade is a heavy slashing blade with a point for stabbing. The blade becomes broader near the end until it sharply tapers to a point. Widely used in the middle east it is known to rank amongst the most effective blades ever designed. -Throwing mace: More a barbarian's weapon. It's use was widespread because of the simplicity of manufacturing and use. The 2' shaft is topped by a heavy ball or other shape and is relatively light. Several can be carried and they are easily home-made. Boomerangs may fall into this class also. -Bajonet: This is a big knife that can be fastened on top of the Arquebus, Musket, shot gun and the carabine. The bajonet is a last ditch weapon, although the bajonet was an essential weapon against cavalery. The bajonet is either a dagger or shortsword type weapon but atop the gun it wields as a spear. A bajonet can be retractable or permanently mounted. The weapon is about 1' long, although there are 30" examples. -Arquebus: This is one of the crudest firearms ever made. Simply a tube on a piece of wood. The name comes from the hook under the weapon, which is used to counter the shock of firing. The failure rate of the weapon is 2 in 20. When a failure occurs the weapon does 1D6 damage to it's wielder and is fouled. Cleaning the weapon takes 2D10 rounds. Please note that the Arquebus no longer has the extended damage rules. -Wheellock pistol: A more advance firearm. This long pistol is often carried in pairs and used primari'ä„@
